So today a psychologist said something to me. He said that the majority of people live within a box, and that’s their entire reality. All they see is the inside of the box, and they’re ‘asleep’ to anything else. People that have suffered from some form of mental illness are ‘awake’, because they’ve seen reality outside the box. He said no matter how hard people try to put that person back into the box, they will never fit, because they’ve seen something beyond it all.

After a while, you just can't cry anymore. You just have to believe that what happens is what's supposed to happen, and well, you can't change that, even if you tried. So just dry the tears, and hope that tomorrow will be a better day.

And I live for the days when we sit around with your best friends and do nothing productive yet at the end of the day, you feel fulfilled. To be honest, when people tell me to just "follow my heart" I don't even know what that means. Like sometimes I can't differentiate between what my mind thinks and what my heart feels.

Of all the changes we can embrace, the most significant and far reaching are the inward changes. They are also the ones we resist the most. Are we willing to release all that we are for all that we could be?
